Pelvic pressure feels like something heavy is pushing down in your lower belly, pelvis, or vagina. It can feel like the baby is sitting very low. Some pressure is normal as your baby grows. But strong pressure, especially before 37 weeks, can mean:
Your baby is moving down too soon.
Labor may be starting early¹.
Your cervix (the opening to your uterus) could be changing.
